About the Image Resizer
The Image Resizer changes the pixel dimensions of a JPG, PNG or WebP image up to 10 MB. With the aspect lock on, entering a width or a height calculates the other side automatically so the picture is not stretched.
Your image is uploaded to our server only to process it. Uploads are deleted after processing, and results expire within 48 hours, so download what you need right away.
How to use it
- Upload an image by clicking or dragging it into the box.
- Enter the new width or height in pixels.
- Keep the lock on to preserve proportions, or turn it off for exact dimensions.
- Select Resize Image and download the result.
Common uses
- Meeting the photo size required by an application or ID form.
- Shrinking large phone photos before emailing them.
- Preparing thumbnails and banners for a website or online shop.
Tips
- Reducing size keeps images sharp; enlarging a small image beyond its original size makes it blurry.
- If a form also has a file-size limit, run the result through the Image Compressor.
- Turning off the lock with mismatched dimensions will distort the image.
