Secure queue48-hour expiry
Compress a PDF without waiting on the page
Upload a PDF, choose the intended quality, and follow a private status link. Email delivery is optional and never subscribes you to marketing.
About the PDF Compressor
The PDF Compressor makes PDF files smaller, mainly by recompressing the images inside them. You choose a target: Smallest for on-screen reading, Balanced for email and the web, or Higher quality for printing.
Processing happens on our own server in a restricted background worker, never through an AI provider. You get a private status page that updates when the job finishes. Uploads are removed after processing and results expire after 48 hours. Files can be up to 10 MB.
How to use it
- Choose a PDF.
- Select a compression target.
- Select Queue compression and keep the status page open.
- Download the smaller PDF when the job completes.
Common uses
- Getting a document under an email attachment limit.
- Uploading scans to a portal with a file-size cap.
- Sharing large reports more quickly.
Tips
- Scanned and image-heavy PDFs shrink the most; text-only PDFs are usually small already.
- Start with Balanced and only choose Smallest if you still need a smaller file.
- Keep the original if you may need to print it later.
