Content and corrections
ToolkitHQ pairs working utilities with instructions that explain their inputs, output and limitations. A guide should help you choose settings and check the result, as well as tell you which button to press.
What the documentation is based on
Our tools use browser JavaScript, PHP image processing, or local PDF and audio programs. The guides describe the behavior implemented by those tools. Where behavior depends on an underlying program, we link to its technical documentation. Those links are references, not endorsements or partnerships.
Worked arithmetic examples are illustrations. Measured examples are labeled with their sample files, settings and software version so you can inspect the same inputs and outputs. Results from a sample are not a promise about your files.
How to check an output
Keep your original. Check dimensions, page counts, selected ranges or duration as appropriate, then open the downloaded file in the application where you intend to use it. Processing successfully does not establish that a document is legally valid, accessible, suitable for archival storage or free of sensitive information.
Corrections and maintenance
To report a problem, send the page URL, your browser, the settings used, what happened and what you expected. A small example containing invented information is more useful and safer than a private document. Do not send passwords, live tokens, identity documents or other sensitive files.
When a tool changes, its instructions and examples need to change with it. The publication checks keep incomplete language versions out of search and advertising while leaving the tools available to visitors. We do not claim that the existence of a translation catalog alone makes every guide complete.
Funding and independence
The site is supported by advertising on eligible content pages. Advertising does not change a calculation, a file conversion or a guide’s explanation. Status screens, search results, error pages and incomplete language versions are excluded from ad loading.
