About the Percentage Calculator

The Percentage Calculator answers the four most common percentage questions: what percent one number is of another, what a percentage of a number is, the percentage change between two numbers, and the result of increasing a number by a percentage.

Tips

  • A percentage change is measured against the first number, so going from 50 to 100 is +100% while going from 100 to 50 is −50%.
